Build Notes
Most Wix designers stop at the drag-and-drop. I wrote custom Velo code to push structured expedition data into CMS collections, so each trip lives as its own comparable entry - not a static page. The booking flow is three steps: Plan → Book → Paddle. First-timers always know what's next.

Multi-day whitewater expeditions on Northern BC's wildest rivers. Real money, real risk, and most guests have never rafted. I built each trip (Nass, Babine, Educational, Custom) as its own structured CMS entry, then wrote the booking-and-deposit system: server-side price calculation, a pending-booking record, and a Wix Pay deposit. Payment confirmation runs on a signed server-side webhook, so a spot only fills once a deposit actually clears - and a rare double-booking on the last seat gets flagged for review instead of silently overselling. Education and custom-trip enquiries run through a separate funnel into a unified CMS collection with instant email alerts.
