I design and build websites - the part people see and the part that makes it work. No templates, no handoffs to someone else. The design and the code are mine, built to fit each client, not the other way around.

I spend real time on rivers and riding in the forest, so when an outdoor brand comes to me, they're working with someone who actually gets the context - the gear, the risk, the customer who's never done this before. I've also spent plenty of time building for non-profits, where every dollar of the budget actually has to earn its place.

I spend a lot of my time building the custom bits - the code that makes a site feel smooth to use, not just good to look at. Every once in a while, when the right tool just doesn't exist, I'll build that too.
